Referral, Rewards & Commissions
BattleGrid offers an expansive reward ecosystem designed to give players multiple revenue streams beyond their game winnings. Our system converts platform fees directly into user-visible rewards, ensuring that our most active players and community builders are paid for their participation and network growth.
There are currently three active and upcoming reward streams available to players:
- Referral Commissions: A 3-hop multi-level commission structure paying you when your network plays.
- Platform Rewards: Automatic, level-based returns on your own entry fees.
- Trade Signals & Copy Trading (Coming Soon): Earn by letting others mirror your successful predictions.
1. How the Economics Work
Every time you enter a game on BattleGrid, a portion of the entry fee goes to the platform.
For example, on a standard $10 game entry, the platform collects a $0.50 platform fee (5%).
This $0.50 platform fee is the base for all referral and reward payouts. A significant portion of this fee is distributed back to the player and their referring network.
Important Guardrail: The absolute maximum paid out for any given fee event (Referral Commissions + Platform Rewards combined) will never exceed 50% of the net platform fee for that event. Built-in scaling protects the treasury.
2. Platform Rewards (Level-Based)
Every player earns rewards on their own platform fees once they reach the rank of NCO (Level 7+). The higher your level, the larger the percentage of your fees you get back.

Rewards are computed automatically for every game you play. Your rate is locked in based on your level at the time you entered the game.
3. Referral Commissions (3-Hop)
When you invite players to BattleGrid, you earn a percentage of the platform fees they generate. Our system uses a 3-hop referral chain, meaning you earn not just from your direct invites, but also from the players they invite.

The Compounding Effect
The multi-level structure is where the real earning potential lies. If you invite 10 active players, and each of them invites 5 more, and those invite 3 more, you are earning commissions on 150+ players' games daily—creating a substantial passive income stream.
4. Claiming Your Rewards
Rewards accrue automatically and can be tracked in real-time from your Referrals Dashboard. To ensure fairness and accuracy, claiming follows a weekly cycle (Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC).
- Weekly Gating: You can claim rewards that were earned in closed cycles (previous weeks). Open-cycle earnings (this week) remain locked until the current week ends.
- Split Claims: Referral and platform reward balances are tracked and claimed independently.
- Minimum Claim: The minimum amount to process a claim is $10.00 per lane.
- Settlement: Rewards are settled in USDC and securely transferred directly to your connected wallet.
5. Coming Soon: Copy Trading & Signals
BattleGrid's prediction game produces a public leaderboard of consistently accurate players. Soon, our copy trading program will allow users to mirror top players' predictions in actual leveraged positions on HyperLiquid.
Real-World Trading Economics
When followers mirror your trades, our Builder Model (inspired by Hyperliquid's builder program) goes into effect, capturing the maximum allowed BPS (basis points) for the platform you trade on (e.g. 10 bps for perps). BattleGrid then radically redistributes these fees back to the ecosystem:

For example, if you are a Top Player providing signals:
- You earn passive income from the remaining un-discounted, un-referred fees.
- For Followers: Your fee burden is dramatically lowered the more games you play (leveling up to 50% discounts).
- For Network Builders: You earn a massive 70% shared cut of all copy trading fees generated by your 3-level referred network (dominated by a 55% L1 share).
