Host a Game

BattleGrid is community-driven. Any user can become a Host and run their own tournaments, earning a share of the revenue.

The Host Incentive (5% Cut)​

When you host a custom game, you become the "House".

  • Revenue Share: You earn 5% of the total Prize Pool generated by your game.
  • Example: You host a game with 100 players @ $10 entry. Total Pot = $1,000. You earn $50 instant profit.

How to Create a Game​

  1. Go to "Create Game": Located in the lobby sidebar.
  2. Configure Settings:
    • Name: Give your arena a name (e.g., "Whale Fight Club").
    • Entry Fee: $5, $10, $50, $100.
    • Duration: 15m, 1h, 4h, 24h.
    • Privacy: Public (anyone can join) or Private (invite link only).
  3. Launch & Share: Get your unique Invite Link.
  4. Promote: Share the link on Discord, Twitter, or Telegram.

Responsibilities​

  • Recruitment: It's your job to fill the lobby. The more players, the bigger your payout.
  • Community: Hosts often stream the final minutes of their games for excitement.

Hosts cannot play in their own private games to prevent collusion, but they CAN play in Public games they created.
