Overview
BattleGrid - Draft Games is a crypto prediction game where you build a 3x3 grid of coins and predict whether each will go UP or DOWN during a timed session. Earn points based on how much your correct predictions move. The bigger the swing, the bigger your score.
Step 1: Join a Session
From the lobby, select an active session showing DRAFTING status. Each session displays:
- Duration: How long the game runs (e.g., 15 minutes)
- Entry Fee: Cost to compete (e.g., $1.00 USDC)
- Prize Pool: Total winnings available
- Players: Current participant count
Step 2: Build Your Grid
You have limited time to draft 9 coins into your 3x3 grid.
- Browse the asset list showing live prices, change %, and performance range
- Click UP or DOWN for each coin to set your prediction
- Selected coins automatically populate your grid on the right panel
- Drag to rearrange positions if needed
Pro Tip: Use the category filters (L1, DeFi, Meme, AI) to find coins you're confident about.
Step 3: Choose Your Captain
Your Position 1 coin (top-left) automatically becomes your Captain, marked with a crown icon. The Captain earns a 1.5x scoring multiplier on correct predictions.
Place your highest-confidence pick here. If you nail the direction on a volatile coin, the Captain bonus significantly boosts your score.
Step 4: Confirm & Pay
Once your grid is complete, click Confirm Transaction to enter. The payment modal shows:
- Entry fee and your account balance
- Current prize pool and player count
- Potential return multiplier
After confirming, your entry is locked and you're in the game.
Step 5: Watch the Action
When the countdown ends, the session goes LIVE. Your dashboard now displays:

How Scoring Works
Formula: Points = |Price Change %| × 100
- ✅ Correct prediction → Earn points based on movement magnitude
- ❌ Wrong prediction → Zero points (no penalty)
- 👑 Captain bonus → Correct Captain predictions earn 1.5x points
Example: You predict ETH goes DOWN. It drops 2.5%. You earn 250 points (or 375 points if ETH is your Captain).
Jackpot Bonus
Get all 9 predictions correct to win the accumulated Jackpot Pool, a rolling prize funded by 5% of every game's entry fees.
Collecting Your Winnings
When time expires, the Game Finished screen reveals final standings. Prize distribution follows a dynamic payout structure where top finishers split 90% of the pool. Your winnings are automatically sent to your connected wallet.
